SPRING?

I really enjoyed the wonderful weather we had last week while on vacation. (I will get to posting those pics soon!) There was no snow at Mom's house or in Cortez at Grandma and Grandpa Saulter's home. The boys had a blast running around outside! So when we got home I was a little bummed to still see all that snow in our yard, though I was hopeful because I could see patches of grass! Spring was on the way. THEN this week happened!!! I looked out my window and all I could say was, "are you kidding me?" :o)

Don't MESS with ME

Liston tonight was able to pass a level that I haven't even passed yet on LOTR. Made it to a brand new level and completed the whole thing without any help.

His Michael Jordon imitation.

He did say he was going to have nightmares about the big spider he had to kill though:)

It was a nice snowy day today, the boys let me bury them in the snow. They had fun until Deacon realized he couldn't get up because he was packed in so good.

Here is the boys with all the stuffed animals out on the couch watching tv together.

Rituals

Coleman has made it his job to keep Mare busy. Coleman likes to go to the book shelves and pull off all the books he can reach. Since we have a couple book shelves he can keep himself busy if no one is watching him. When all done he just smiles because he knows he is to little to pick them up:)

Gamer

Since we now have a computer that can play some games, Liston has turned into a gamer. We started playing Lord of the Rings last week and he is hooked. In sacrament today he told me when he got home he was going to get the game and play it. True to form Mare and I didn't even make it into the house from the car after church and he had ran downstairs got the game and joystick and was bringing it up with him to start playing. He is pretty good too. The joystick has 7 buttons or so and he knows when to use the different ones. He can pass the levels that Mare can't as well. Picture shows Deacon falling asleep waiting for his turn:)

Spring time?

Coleman had more fun his second go round of sledding. We found a nice hill off of Piney Pass to sled on. Nice walk to the hill and steep enough you would hold your breath when Liston would go down by himself. If you were standing half way up the hill when he went by on the tube you could just hear it picking up speed. Luckily evertime he went he did good and only crashed once by himself and that was only because he thought he was going to take out Deacon at the bottom.

Coleman liked sitting in the tube and would kick his legs because he wanted to go. But his parents were not any braver than to let him go 5 ft by himself.
