Fun In The Autumn Sun

Todd took us to Cave Falls today. We haven't been to the falls since last summer. Liston was not excited to go at all. He said he didn't want to go on any adventures and he just wanted to stay home. But when it was all said and done I think the boys had fun. And I really enjoyed seeing all the beautiful scenery. It was a little chilly but it was nice to get out before the snow starts to stick.

Sleepyhead

I put Coleman in his highchair to eat his snack yesterday. I started thumbing through a magazine while he munched on his graham cracker. I looked over a moment later and my little man was off in la la land still holding tight to his little treat. :) Such a cutie!

Coleman's cooking show

Here is Coleman. He is helping Mom make some cookies. Couldn't resist showing his pictures. I thought the picture of Deacon had some cheek resemblance to Coleman.

YEAH SNOW

Well, Deacon was sad to see the snow melt ths spring. He was happy today to see the snow back. It flurried a little this morning he wanted to go outside and play in it. I told him I had to put Liston down for a nap then he could go out. By the time Liston fell asleep the snow had stopped and nothing was on the ground. Deacon went out anyway and wanted me to get him alot of snow and put it on the deck for him. Tonight we got some to stick. He went outside and played in it for quite awhile by himself until Liston decided he missed him and went out and played as well. They ate as much snow as they could. We will see if he gets tired of the snow. Right now he loves it more than anyone.

Swinging away

We finally found a use for the baby swing. None of the kids used it much as babies. Lately Deacon and Liston can both be found swinging in it while listening to music upstairs. Even though they both get yelled at each day to not get in it because they will break it. We got Liston a kidz bop cd to listen to because the speach therapist said singing was good for him. Now they listen to it all the time and it has been pretty cool to spy on them while they are both singing, dancing and swinging.

Happy birthday Liston

Hard to believe that Liston turned 5 on thursday. Presents opened by 715. Lots of action figures, clothes, books. He was happy to get all his presents. Had an orca whale pinata he had fun whacking. Given choices for things to do he wanted to swim in the hot tub. We are sure lucky to have him in our lives.
